Delhi Nursery (Pre School) Admission 2024
Delhi Nursery (PreSchool) Admission Process for admission to Open Seats in ShreeRam World School, Sector 10, Dwarka and other private schools will start from 23 November 2023. School will upload the admission procedure and admission criteria along with points for each criterion for admission in Open seats (non-EWS/DG/CWSN category seats), on its official website/notice board and edudel website by November 20, 2023.
The government has set an upper age limit of less than four years to be eligible for nursery, less than five years for kindergarten, and less than six years for admission to Class 1.
The Directorate of Education has fixed a minimum age and upper age limit as on 31st March of the year in which the admission is sought for admission in the nursery, kindergarten, and Class 1.

- Schools will share the details of children who have applied for admission and points allotted to each of them by the schools under their point system on school'we bsite/notice board by 5th January, 2024 (Friday).
- The school will conduct draw of lots (computerized or through slips) in a transparent manner in presence of parents and will publish the list of selected children will be out on (including waiting list) on 12th January 2024.
- After draw of lots, schools will share the details of children admitted and in waiting under Open seats along with points allotted to them on the schools website/notice board and edudel website on 12th January 2024.

Admission Process
- The candidates can register their names at the admission counter of the school on all working days as per the schedule between 8.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only.
- The Registration form is also available on the school website. The form can be downloaded and the filled in form along with the required documents and a registration fee of Rs. 25/- needs to be deposited at the school counter as per the schedule.
- Admissions shall be made on a point scale based on school-specific criteria without any discrimination of Caste/Religion/Region etc.
- The school shall first segregate the applications having the residence within the first neighborhood range of 0-8 km.
- Out of the total applications from the first neighborhood range of 0-8 km, the school shall first give admission to all siblings.
- If the applications of sibling category within 0-8 km are less than the seats of General Category and if seats still remain vacant after exhausting sibling's applications, the school shall admit the students on the basis of draw of lots from the remaining applications received under the neighborhood range 0-8 km.
- This will be followed by above 8km applications

- Ration card / Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having the name of the Child);
- Domicile certificate of the child or of his/her parents;
- Voters I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parent;
- Electricity bill/ MTNL telephone bill/ Water bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child;
- Aadhaar Card/ UID Card in the name of any of the parents;
- Self-attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate.
- Self-attested photocopy of the identity cards (both sides) or fee receipt showing the admission no. in case of sibling category.
