The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially released the revised results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 for undergraduate admissions. This development comes after the Supreme Court of India intervened to address reported discrepancies in the original answer key, leading to the re-evaluation and correction of certain responses.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their updated scorecards through the official CLAT website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The updated results reflect the final evaluation post-correction and are now being used for counselling and admissions into participating NLUs.
Exam Day Overview
The CLAT 2025 undergraduate entrance exam was conducted on December 1, 2024. Candidates were required to report to their designated test centres by 1:30 PM, with the examination scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
For candidates under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Specially Abled Persons (SAP) categories, an additional 40 minutes of exam time was provided, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the consortium.
Mandatory Documents and Guidelines
On the day of the examination, all candidates were instructed to carry the following:
- CLAT 2025 Admit Card
- Valid Government-issued Photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License)
Strict adherence to exam guidelines was emphasized to ensure fairness and transparency. Any failure to comply with the instructions, including late reporting or missing documents, could result in disqualification.
Background of Result Revision
Following the declaration of the initial CLAT 2025 results, multiple candidates raised objections regarding certain questions and the official answer key. After reviewing the matter, the Supreme Court directed the Consortium to re-evaluate the affected answers to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. The updated results now reflect those changes, ensuring that no candidate is unfairly disadvantaged.
Candidates are advised to download their revised scorecards and monitor the CLAT portal for the upcoming counselling and seat allocation process.
