The first counselling of shortlisted candidates in AIIMS 2019 exam is likely to be held from July, 2019. Refer to below table for AIIMS MBBS Admission 2019-20 counselling date.
Number of candidates called for counselling in 1st round is 4 times number of seats in each category. Other shorlisted candidates will be called in further round of counselling if seats are not filled in 1st round of counselling.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and OPH category have to bring the necessary certificates from the competent authority in the prescribed form mentioned in the prospectus.
The list of Selected /Shortlisted candidates will be made available on the Website. The E-mail /SMS Alert will be sent to the candidates on their registered E-mail /Mobile Numbers. NO SEPARATE COUNSELLING CALL LETTER will be issued by post. Students can download counselling call letter from AIIMS website: www.aiimsexams.org.

AIIMS entrance examination for MBBS course is for admission to the MBBS course of AIIMS, New Delhi and 8 other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) & Nagpur (Maharashtra)). MBBS Course offered by AIIMS is of minimum five and a half academic years including one year's compulsory internship.
In January every year, AIIMS releases notification/advertisement inviting applications in prescribed form through online mode only for MBBS course. The exam is conducted on a single day only in Online Mode (Computer-based Test (CBT)). This year it will be conducted on 2 days as given above.

Who can apply: Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared in 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates) in aggregate.

AIIMS entrance exam for MBBS course is conducted at various centers all over the country.
The AIIMS Entrance Examination will be conducted only in Online Mode [Computer Based Test (CBT) ] in two shifts per day (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM).
AIIMS entrance exam for MBBS course will have 1 paper containing 200 objective Type questions. The question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of candidates.
Questions will be of Multiple choice (140 Questions) and reason assertion (60 Questions) type. The Questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge/Aptitude.
In AIIMS Delhi, there are 100 seats for Indian Nationals and 7 seats for (Foreign Nationals) available for admission to MBBS course. In the six new AIIMS - Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Guntur and Nagpur and Rishikesh, will admit 100 students each. The remaining new AIIMS , have 50 seats each. The reservation policy followed will be same across all AIIMS 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, out of Indian Nationals seats.
Please note: A 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) as per provision of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 shall be provided on horizontal basis, amongst the seats available subject to evaluation by the Medical Board of the Institute.
