As a former student I have seen how unjust and corrupt the school is as I heard that the staff there at Hebron are only there at the school because it's there last resort and have no where else to go . They also think that since them being staff they can bully the students because there "Superior" than them which is just horrific because they are supposed to be Christians but act only the opposite. I strongly urge parents who want there kids to go to this school that they should consider that there kids will be taught by people who are under qualified but there are very few who are and hardly any staff there for God, but rather easy money.

I was a former student at Hebron in the days when boarding was from Yr 1 (5 years old) to Yr 13 (18 years old). I was there for the duration from 1971 to 1984. I have maintained connections with many hundreds of former staff and students and although there are the usual negative areas and students and staff who have had unfortunate or bad situations I have found that, like me, the vast majority have found it to be a tremendous environment to be schooled in. The trend tends to be that the older the students the more problems were found. I have been amazed and pleased to see how much the school has improved in many ways but at the same time has kept the amazingly high standards of education and moral principles. Hebron regularly achieves international awards for top students (best in Math worldwide for example). The staff are ALL on the same very sacrificial salary whether dorm parents or teachers or the principle..... All are paid the same. They are not there for the money and the selection process is rigorous so they are not there because they can't be elsewhere. All the staff have given up or paused successful lives and careers to be there and have done so because they love the work, are committed to the education of children, and want to serve God, the school, the children, and the other staff. I would highly recommend Hebron to anyone considering a good intellectual, emotional, religious and moral education for children and for staff who want a pleasant, loving, caring environment to work. The pay isn't great but the benefits personally are out of this world.
