MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Dr. Y.S. Parmar Government Medical College, Nahan, Sirmour MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. • Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Himachal Pradesh or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
• Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Himachal Pradesh colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
• The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
• After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.
