It is a Girls Day School, which serves the educational needs of hundreds of students from Nursery through XII. The classes in Loreto House for every academic year begins in April and ends in March.
Loreto House, Middleton, Kolkata was established by the Sisters of Loreto. Sisters of Loreto is part of Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary which was founded by Mary Ward. School started with 60 students in year 1842. It is the oldest and first Loreto institution in India.
The school is all girls catholic school but school has started admitting non catholic girls also. School give admission to girls of ages 4 to 18.

Admission to Class XI
Admission for Class XI for Academic the upcoming session starts in February. The Application forms for Class Xl for the upcoming session 2020 – 2021 will be available online from February 2020.
