A healthy diet with good exercise will help moms to loose weight after pregnancy.

They have to keep ensure that they eat time to time. To loose weight, many mothers start to eat less which is not good for their health because they also need the energy to take care of their baby. Rather than skipping meals, they should eat 5-6 small meals in a day which makes them active and food can be easily digested. 

It is also important to drink 12-15 glasses of water in a day as it also helps in losing weight but limit the sugared drinks like packed juice, cold drinks etc. 

Limit sweets,sugar and trans fat as well

It is usually observed that nearly half of all pregnant women gain more than the recommended amount of weight during pregnancy. This pregnancy weight gain consists of:

  • the baby
  • placenta
  • amniotic fluid
  • breast tissue
  • blood
  • uterus enlargement
  • extra fat stores.

So what are the tips to loose the baby weight? Lets discuss this here:

1. First and most important tip is DON'T DIET: Yes, my friend never ever think of doing dieting just after your beby is delivered because that is the time when you need more nutritious diet to heal and recover and you have to feed your baby too.

A low calorie diet is likely to be lacking in important nutrients and will probably leave you feeling tired.

2. Breastfeed if you can: Breastfeeding your baby for the first 6 months of life has many benefits for both of you and your baby.

- Breast milk contains all the nutrients a baby needs to grow. It supports the baby immune system too.

- Breastfeeding reduces the mother's risk of diseases as well. People who breastfeed have lower risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer. It salso supports your weight loss.

3. Eat hight fibre foods: By doing this you will feel fuller for longer duration of time which automatically reduces your craving for more food and hence intake of calories.

4. Always keep some healthy snacks handy: It includes:

-dry fruits

-some seeds

- Greek yogurt

- Spiced nuts

-Fruits and vegetables

- Popcorn

Also, you can easily make some low calories healthy snacks .

5. Cut down extra sugar: You can easily avoid intake of processed food, fruit juices, candies, cakes, biscuits, pastries and specially coffee.

During pregnancy women put on so much of weight. Its quite natural. First of all you dont have to stress about this. Stay relax and enjoy this beautiful phase of your life. You can come back to your original shape after pregnancy and can lose weight very easily. But for this you have to be determined first and it will be the key. To shed those extra pounds, you have to take healthy diet. Also exercise regularly. Exercise will help you get rid of fat instead of muscle. All you have to do is to push yourself a little in this daily routine. It will take time and patience but perseverance will make you to reach your goal.
