A school is a place where one comes to learn new things, to improve the understandability of subjects and to learn discipline, i.e. to get educated. When mobile phones were invented, their primary use was to ease the calling system. With the lapse of time, we testified major technological changes. With the advent of the latest technology, we now have everything on our phone from the camera to the internet to games and whatnot. Although technology has changed our lives drastically, the overuse of smartphones has somewhere degraded our lives both physically as well as mentally. It does not make sense to allow mobile phones in schools because it may distract the students from studying and focussing on learning for what we send our children to school. The line of demarcation between school life and personal life should not disrupt.

No, They are going to school to study by their teacher thought and it is not allowed by the school policy also that students will bring a mobile phone in the school.

No kids should not be allowed mobile phones at school. Though there might be arguments as to how they are beneficial for the safety of the kid, but no, school is not the place for mobile phones. The range and usage of mobile is vast.
The biggest problem to deal with mobile phones at school is DISTRACTION. This is going to be the biggest menace if you are think of allowing mobile phones in schools.
We will see that kids will form groups and play games during classes. Now in this time of extensive technology , we find that there are a lot of online games that can be played in groups and hence the shifting of focus from books to phone.
This will result in the kid getting punished in the classroom for not paying attention in the ongoing class and therefore the blame coming onto the parents for not monitoring their children properly .
Secondly, this will hamper the focusing and concentration level of children , they will find it difficult to shift their focus onto the more important topic.
This will also hamper the exam result indirectly, because the amount of time spent on the mobile phone inside school and off school premises at home will be greatly increase so the purpose of going to school to study will keep on decreasing and the kid will find no interest in the textual studies thereby score less in examinations.
