answered 9 Jun 2020Rubik's cube was invented in the year 1974 by a professor of architecture, named 'Erno Rubik' to help school students to understand the structure of objects with various dimensions. Primarily, professor Rubik did not know that he had created a useful puzzle. A Rubik's cube is quite useful when it comes to its benefits. Its benefits are as follows:
1. A Rubik's cube helps children in developing patience, better attention and greater concentration because children keep working on the same goal for a long time, i.e. to solve the puzzle.
2. It helps in improving eye-hand coordination.
3. It leads to better creativity because a person uses different ways to achieve the result, i.e. solve the puzzle.
4. A Rubik's cube also plays an important role in developing children's analytical ability and capacity. A person studies different patterns and finds different ways of solving the puzzle.
5. Memorising ability is also increased through a Rubik's cube because the actions taken in bringing each colour to its place need to be remembered. It increases and develops their capacity and ability to store information.
Thus, we can conclude that a Rubik's cube is a good toy for developing the mental health of a kid.
