Kids have the simplest and innocent of minds. So they commit the most of mistakes . They need to be corrected and then taught the right way of living in tge world. Our kids always think that whatever they do is supposed to be right. This works this way because our human mind works like this . We all want to give our children freedom, but keeping a set of rules and restrictions so that they dont get spoilt. How do we stop and restrict them?
By scolding. Though some people might disagree and say that kids should not be scolded, but it is very important for teaching them.
Ar first we dont scold them, we make them understand that whatever they did is not right and acceptable. If they still keep doing it , we will have to scold. Else they'll get away with it and keep doing it untill others call them bad. The kids dont always understand if we are sweet talking to them to make them understand, a bit of harshness has to be maintained so that they know that their parents are dissatisfied and not happy with their doings. Kids need to be taught to distinguished between right and wrong , if not through sweet talks then by some harsh scolding .
We all got scolded by our parents and look at us, we know how to be disciplined. So the same goes for them , scolding is a very necessary part of parenting to teach the kid the morales and behavior necessary to be accepted and fit in the societal norms.

Hi,

Where it is important to be strict with kids in some situations, but scolding should be the last measure of parenting. Prolonged practice of such means could really affect the psychic of the kids. it would stress themm out & they may even lose confidence in the process.

Hey,

Don't scold too often. Scolding makes children anxious and may make them ignore you. It may also worsen the behavior. Never scold your child during time-out.

That's All folks
