College was earlier affiliated to PT. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, now its affiliated to SGT university.

The SGT Medical college is a unit of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust (est. 1999). The trust’s, objective is to spread the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh (Dashmesh),providing quality education. The Medical College got the permission vide MCI Letter No MCI.34(41)/2010/Med./918 Date 15/07/2010 to start MBBS course from the academic session 2010-11 with 100 students.

The college is located within the Delhi NCR and is less than 5 kms from Delhi border.

The attached hospital to the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, SGT University (SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute, Budhera) is a 600 bedded Multi-Specialty hospital, Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary Hospital. SGT Medical College is very spacious and an ultramodern structure with all facilities.

The college campus of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera Gurgaon (formerly Sri Gobind Tricentenary Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute) is spread over 60 acres of area. The College has following facilities within its campus

Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (SGT college) campus is Wi-Fi enabled and also has a PNB ATM on the campus.

College has hostels for boys and girls with dining facility. All Hostel rooms have beds, study tables, chairs and cupboards. Students can also avail AC on extra payment. Each Hostel has a separate study rooms, Recreation room and a dining hall. College also has sports complex for boys and girls.

The SGT university provides 3BHK, 2BHK , 1 BHK and Studio apartments for the teaching and Non Teaching Staff.

SGT college is planning to create an auditorium with 1000 seats.

MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera Gurgaon (formerly Sri Gobind Tricentenary Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute) MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera Gurgaon (formerly Sri Gobind Tricentenary Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute) and other Medical colleges in Haryana state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and have cleared the NEET UG Exam conducted in the current academic year based on the NEET result are eligible for the admission. A Person will clear the NEET exam if marks obtained by the candidate are equal to or more than qualifying cut off marks. MBBS Admission Procedure Post Declaration of the NEET Exam result

  • Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Haryana or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
  • Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Haryana colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
  • The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
  • After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.
  • The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission

Admission to All India Quota UG seats

All government colleges have 15% of total seats for ALL India Quota. Online counselling for these seats would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services. FMHS SGT University PG Admision Procedure

Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.
