North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College was established in 2013. Letter of Permission by Medical Council of India was granted to establish of new medical college at Hindu Rao Hospital.
Hindu Rao Hospital is situated on the ridge in Civil Lines area of Delhi. It is one of the oldest hospitals of Delhi. It was built in early 19th century as a residence of Shri Hindu Rao. After the demise of Shri Hindu Rao, the house was converted into a small Nursing Home. In 1951 Delhi state government converted the Nursing Home into a general hospital offering basic preventive and curative OPD services. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi took over the hospital in 1958.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS (NEET-SS) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty Medical Courses (DM/M.Ch. Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.
Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. Admission to PG Super Speciality courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET SS exam. Know more about NEET SS exam.
