MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to MES Medical College, Perintalmanna Malappuram Kerala MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of MES Medical College, Perintalmanna Malappuram Kerala and other Medical colleges in Kerala state is purely on the basis of merit.   • The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

Nightmare! Weak and poor infrastructures, delays, doctors are always late, waited 3 hours with my 70 year old grandparent until 10PM, and finally says doctor will not attend anymore patients and had to leave. And the best part is, while proceeding to CT Scan, you also have to bring a glass of water for the patient to drink, they won't even provide that there! 😂
