MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery and other Medical colleges in Kerala state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and have cleared the NEET UG Exam conducted in the current academic year based on the NEET result are eligible for the admission. Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. T R John of psychiatry. He is an ass*ole and big idiot. He diagnoses whoever brought to him as having bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. He then prescribes medicines for many years. Most of his medicines have severe side effects. For eg. those who take medicines suffer from chronic constipation throughout their life. But this idiot doctor doesn't care. This doctor has no knowledge of the subject but considers himself to be an expert. He convinces the relatives and parents of the patient that the patient has severe illness and then does involuntary treatment. I wish somebody slap this arrogant doctor. His diagnosis is absolutely wrong and treatment unnecessary. Somebody please file a criminal case against this doctor with the police.
