MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, Talegaon, Pune MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, Talegaon, Pune and other Medical colleges in Maharashtra state is purely on the basis of merit. Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Maharashtra or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Maharashtra colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.

PG Admision Procedure

Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS (NEET-SS) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty Medical Courses (DM/M.Ch. Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.

Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. Admission to PG Super Speciality courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET SS exam. Know more about NEET SS exam. Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their DM and MCh Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

Not a medical student but it has best Infrastructure for a college... best lawns... amid the greenery... Palatial buildings from the outside... but modest from Inside... huge campus... Visible from the nearby Talegaon station...

Yeah, well clean place, Doctors were fantastic and Thier student were looking somewhat confused but they are trying their best,I also there in X-ray section all the staff was good except one lady on the entrance she were behaving rude even with sick petients. Then I went to physiotherapy nice and clean place all the lil doctors were like taking care of mother like Thier own relatives. And personally I like being there.
