Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)2024 and have cleared the Exam based on the NEET result. A Person will clear the NEET exam if marks obtained by the candidate are equal to or more than qualifying cut off marks. Such candidates can take part in the counselling for admission to MBBS at King George Medical University, Lucknow. MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Faculty of Medical Sciences, King George's Medical University, Lucknow MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Faculty of Medical Sciences, King George's Medical University, Lucknow and other Medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and have cleared the NEET UG Exam conducted in the current academic year based on the NEET result are eligible for the admission. A Person will clear the NEET exam if marks obtained by the candidate are equal to or more than qualifying cut off marks. Such candidates can take part in the counselling for admission to MBBS at Faculty of Medical Sciences, King George's Medical University, Lucknow. In order to get admission in Medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh the candidate should also fulfill criteria laid down by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

  • Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Uttar Pradesh or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
  • Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Uttar Pradesh colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
  • The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
  • After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.
  • The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission
Candidates are advised to check this page or department website regularly after the declaration of NEET results.

Admission to All India Quota UG seats

All government colleges have 15% of total seats for ALL India Quota. Online counselling for these seats would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services. KGMU PG Admision Procedure

Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET-PG:

Hospital is very good and senior doctors also but the staff here is in full attitude as they are the iwner of this place again this is because reservation od sc and st only 3 to 5 out of 100 are well mannered and responsible

Hospital with good doctors but worst administration. Temperature - 34degC Humidity - 55% - Got referred to a doctor, went to hospital on his OPD days, he didn't come. - Asked to be admitted, doctor or the staff around doesn't knows what is the procedure to be admitted. - Asking totally random person there, we we're asked to get a receipt to admit the patient. Went to the place, they asked to go another, and then they again asked to go to another. After 4th person, got the receipt. - Now having receipt, went back to doctor ( as we didn't know what next to be done) - Doctor sent us again to new person to who will make file. - Then a totally uninterested guy made our file in 10mins ( he just wrote patient name in that time) and asked again to go to new person. - Now the lady doctor there asked some questions ( my opinion, those were unrelated questions, but maybe are important for them). - She checked and completed the file and then gave it to a new doctor. - The new guys was very much attached to WhatsApp and had no interest in the case file. ( Wasted around 5min, texting on our face ) - Took the file, and just kept watching it for another 15mins ( in between writing patient name, if missing ) ( Don't know what he was thinking so much ) ( My opinion, he didn't know what to do with the file). - He put his signature on the file and asked us to still wait another 3hr because they wanted to take a test. - Asked why so much time, apparently for some reason can't be done before (My opinion, probably the only doctor who knows how to do it will be free after 3hrs, they didn't know). - We already had a similar operation before and had all the test reports available to us. No one actually checked any of those. - But in meantime we had to go to another building to get a bed allotted for admission. Went to that building. - No one knows whom to contact or who is responsible for bed allotments. - After randomly asking for 15mins, went to a department we're a guy ( not a doctor ) sitting. - He again asked us to go back to the doctor and get a letter from him that the patient needs to be admitted ( I had the receipt for the admission and the patient file was also with the hospital). - My thought on that moment, this is the worst ever administration I have ever seen and they harass general people to get more patient. No one know what is happening in the hospital and God knows how they even run it. - We came back without doing the admission and the test asked us to wait for 3hrs.
