MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to IQ-City Medical College, Burdwan MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of IQ-City Medical College, Burdwan and other Medical colleges in West Bengal state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and have cleared the NEET UG Exam conducted in the current academic year based on the NEET result are eligible for the admission. A Person will clear the NEET exam if marks obtained by the candidate are equal to or more than qualifying cut off marks.   • Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of West Bengal or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
  • Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in West Bengal colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
  • The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
  • After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.
  • The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.

Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. Excellent experience. 24 hours emergency service. Well behaved staffs specially doctors( Dr. Indranil Dev). Not demanding to much money compared to other private hospitals. But billing section is too much slow.

Very bad not expected such poor Doctors. Doctors are very insensible, irresponsible, unethical, uneducated in medical sector. This Hospital is running like IT Company, they hired Doctors from the medical colleges and run this hospital. Doctors are not much experienced and they become experts and Chief Doctors. I lost my Father here due to wrong treatment by Dr. Sourabh Chatopadhya (the chief consultant), Delay treatment by Dr Prashant (the only Pulmogist expert in IQ City) and irresponsible treatment by Dr. Shubham(RMO). We admitted our Father in IQ City by saying that he is having some chest n lungs problem and showed all the previous diagnosed documents. Doctor ignored all these reports and start their one treatment of Dengue. After 4 days of treatment Chief Doctor said " Paitent is OK now from Dengue now he is having some issues with Chest n Lungs, so Dr Prashant will come and handle this." After referring to Dr. Prashant, Dr Prashant have not checked my father on same day. He(Dr. Prashant) visit to my father after 26hrs and said will try our level best. When asked him why you came such late, he replied " I have my personal life too, I can not come every time here, I know my work." And after 4-5 hrs this I lost my father. My father was good enough to help himself for basic work. Due to irresponsible behavior of Doctors he died. When I asked doctor to call some good experience Chest/lungs Doctors from out side of IQ City. They replied, they can't do this as "what they will answer to hospital authority, that IQ City Hospital doctors are not capable to handle". This is not a single case, there are N number of such cases as I came to know by hospital people. Overall this is a Medical Hospital n College where doctors do their practice on our patients, play with patient, gain experience and for this these people charge huge money form us. Think 10 times before going this Hospital and be 100% active with your patient status from Doctor. @Google please provide some negative feedback icon too.
