Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET-PG:

Medical Post Graduate Super Specialty DM/MCH Courses – Admission Procedure

As per the Indian Medical Council Act 2016, Admission to various DM/MCh Courses in Medical Colleges and Institutions approved by MCI in India is through NEET SS. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS (NEET-SS) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty Medical Courses (DM/M.Ch. Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.

Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. This hospital has best facilities which one may not find in any other government run hospital or medical institution. The cardiology department is gem in the crown of this hospital. It has very renowned surgeons and cardiologists which are working round the clock . The staff is always overworked but they still cordial and hard working. The private rooms available for staff patients are at par with the a good private hospital room with all facilities like AC, hot air blower, LCD TV, attached bathroom, and of course the daily cleanliness drive is amazing too. I think this is the most reliable place to look at if you don't want your throat cut by private practitioners.
