MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Father Mullers Institue of Medical Education and Research, Mangalore MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Father Mullers Institue of Medical Education and Research, Mangalore and other Medical colleges in Karnataka state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Karnataka colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.
The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission

Admission to All India Quota UG seats

All government colleges have 15% of total seats for ALL India Quota.
