AIIMS Number of Seats

In AIIMS Delhi, there are 125 seats for Indian Nationals and 7 seats for (Foreign Nationals) available for admission to MBBS course. In the six new AIIMS – Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Guntur and Nagpur and Rishikesh, will admit 100 students each. The remaining new AIIMS , have 50 seats each. The reservation policy followed will be same across all AIIMS 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, out of Indian Nationals seats.

Please note: A 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) as per provision of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 shall be provided on horizontal basis, amongst the seats available subject to evaluation by the Medical Board of the Institute.

About AIIMS – All India Institute of Medical Sciences

AIIMS are the top most medical institutes in India. AIIMS are group of autonomous public medical colleges and institutes in India. AIIMS Delhi was established by the ACT of Parliament, AIIMS Act 1956, as Institutes of National Importance in 1956. The AIIMS outside India were created after AIIMS (amendment) Bill, 2012.

First AIIMS was established in 2012 in Delhi, followed by other in 2012. AIIMS Delhi is the most popular medical institute in India.
