Sesame or Til can be used by parents to make various yummy ready to eat items like Til Ladoo, Chikkis, Gajak.

At home, making the sesame balls (Til Ladoo) with mixing jaggery and almonds is the best way to include these healthy seeds as snacks, and kids love its delicious taste as well.

2. Peanut and Walnut Balls

Nuts are high in calories with a steady energy source for kids. It contains all three macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) that are essential for kids and also rich in vitamins and minerals. It’s simple to make Walnut Balls,

  • Make a paste of walnuts, dates, and peanut butter.
  • Roll into small balls and coat it with unsweetened desiccated coconut.

3. Jaggery rice

Jaggery is a useful essence during the winter season for all. It helps to keep you warm, dilates blood vessels and improves blood circulation. Jaggery helps in generating heat in the body, thus helps in keeping you warm during the winters. Kids can also consume Jaggery directly along with Roti (Indian Bread).
