The element Livermorium was discovered by Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in year 2000 in Russia. Livermorium derived its name from from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (in Livermore, California) which collaborated with JINR on its synthesis
The element Selenium was discovered by Jöns Jakob Berzelius in year 1817 in Sweden. Selenium derived its name derived its name from from the Greek selene, meaning 'moon'
