The college campus of Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Shahabad, Kurukshetra, Haryana is spread over 29 acres of area. The College has following facilities within its campus

College has housing facility for the teaching and non teaching staff, nursing staff and students

Hostels For Students
The College has seperate hostel for Boys and Girls in its campus. As of now the hostel can accomodate 60 boys (30 rooms) and 60 girls (30 rooms). Each room in the hostel is with attached toilet facility and will be occupied by 2 students. Each student in the hostel will receivechair, table, bed and full size cupboard.

Each hostel has a visitor room, a AC study room with computer and internet and Messing facilities. The hostel also has a recreational facility room with TV, Music and Indoor games etc.

Hostels For Residents
For Male Junior Residents: 15 rooms with attached toilet in Boys Hostel building. Each Room can accomodate 2 junior residents.

For Female Junior Residents: 8 Two Bed Room Flats with drawing, dining, kitchen and attached toilet facility. Each Room will have 2 female residents.

For Senior Residents, 10 Two Bed Room Flats with drawing, dining, kitchen and attached toilet facility. Each room will have 1 senior resident.

Nurses’ Hostel
30 rooms with attached toilet facility in the Girl’s Hostel Building. Each room will have 3 nurses

Residential Quarters
For teaching Staff – 14 Two Bed Room Flats with drawing, dining, kitchen and attached toilet facility.

For Non-Teaching staff – 28 Two Room Set Quarters with kitchen, attached toilet facility

College has seperate common room for Boys and Girls (184 Sq.m) with attached toilets. College also has a Cafeteria in the administrative block.

There are sick rooms available in all type of hostels with appropriate first-aid and medical facilities.

CENTRAL LIBRARY
Library of the college is fully air-conditioned with seating arrangement for at least 75 students for reading. Library also has one reading room for 150 students inside and one room for 150 students outside. It has more than 3200 text and reference books.

Library services are available for 12 hours a day, from 09.00 AM till 09.00 PM.
College also has separate Departmental Libraries in Pre clinical, Para Clinical and Clinical Departments with more than 80 books in each Departmental Libraries.

LECTURE THEATRES
College has 2 AC lecture theatres of gallery type in the Medical College Building. Each Lecture theater have seating capacity for 180 students. College has plans to create another two Lecture Theatres in the Medical College Building for a capacity of 180 each and one Lecture Theatre in Hospital Building for a capacity of 200 students.

DAY CARE CENTRE
College has also established a Day Care Centre (CRECHE) in the medical college campus to take care of the infants and the children of female students/working personal and patients.

Playground & Gymnasium
College also has a play ground (18540.48 sq.m.) and Gymnasium (154 sq.m.) for the staff and students.

Mess
Separate mess facilities are available for students in the Boys’ Hostel, Girls’ Hostel, Residents and Nurses.

College Hospital facilities are available for the students, residents, nurses, teaching and non-teaching faculty members at a subsidized rate.

MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Shahabad, Kurukshetra, Haryana MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act and the Dentists Act, NEET UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in India in Medical and Dental Colleges recognised and approved by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Admission to all MBBS seats of Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Shahabad, Kurukshetra, Haryana and other Medical colleges in Haryana state is purely on the basis of merit. Candidates who have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and have cleared the NEET UG Exam conducted in the current academic year based on the NEET result are eligible for the admission. A Person will clear the NEET exam if marks obtained by the candidate are equal to or more than qualifying cut off marks. MBBS Admission Procedure Post Declaration of the NEET Exam result

• Department of Medical Education and Research, Government of Haryana or the body nominated by the department will release the official notification for seeking applications along with the detailed procedure and schedule
• Candidate who want to apply for Medical courses in Haryana colleges have to apply online on the website of admission committee for the consideration of his candidature. Candidates have to submit the application or admission form within the time line released by the committee.
• The department/Committee will prepare the result/merit list based on the NEET Score and other criterias. The merit list will be available on the website.
• After declaration of merit list, selected candidates will be called for document verification and counselling/admission.
• The department/Committee conducts two 2 rounds of counseling/ Seat Allocation and 1 MOP up admission

Admission to All India Quota UG seats

All government colleges have 15% of total seats for ALL India Quota. Medical Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma Courses – Admission Procedure

As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Admission to PG courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, SGPGIMS, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET PG exam. Know more about NEET PG exam. Know about AIIMS Admission Procedure and JIPMER Admission procedure.

Please note state government, private dental college and universities including the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh will NOT be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024 - 2025.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS (NEET-SS) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty Medical Courses (DM/M.Ch. Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.

Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. Admission to PG Super Speciality courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET SS exam. Know more about NEET SS exam.
