Admision Procedure

MBBS Admission Procedure and Eligibility for Admission – MBBS Course 2024 - 2025

The admission to Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, Pondicherry MBBS course will be through NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS Courses in India in Medical Colleges approved by MCI is through NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) [NEET (UG)] except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. As per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Colleges approved by MCI in India is through NEET PG. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and PG Diploma Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses) in India.

Medical Post Graduate Super Specialty DM/MCH Courses – Admission Procedure

As per the Indian Medical Council Act 2016, Admission to various DM/MCh Courses in Medical Colleges and Institutions approved by MCI in India is through NEET SS. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS (NEET-SS) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty Medical Courses (DM/M.Ch. Courses) in varioud Universities/Institutions in the India.

Admission to all DM/MCh Courses in India including all Private Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Universities/Deemed Universities and all DM/MCh courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions will be through NEET SS. Admission to PG Super Speciality courses of AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS and JIPMER is not through NEET SS exam. Know more about NEET SS exam. We visit this hospital regularly for our medical needs. The experience has always been pleasant. Parking is nice and ample. Trust me the tests are cheapest in the industry. The campus is huge and people friendly. Doctors are not that great . We generally use this for medical testing and basic consultation. Overall a great hospital!
